Wealth and Astrology
“Millionaires don't use astrology but Billionaires do” J.P Morgan.
There are many indications for wealth in astrology charts. In Chinese astrology the most obvious way to know if people will have a knack for generating wealth will be if they have charts that follow and use the wealth element. On a deeper level wealth indications will be in charts that are classified as Gold, Silver or Bronze. There can also be hidden wealth in the animal branches which are classed as a storage of wealth. Having a storage of wealth in the animal branches is considered favourable as it is hidden therefore no one will be able to steal it. Men who follow wealth in Chinese astrology will love the company of woman, as the wealth element in a male chart represents women. There are other special configurations to numerous in Chinese astrology to mention in this blog in relation to wealth.
One of the main reasons people get interested in astrology is whether they will make good money or not. Financial astrology seminars attract far more people than other seminars in relation to astrology.
Western culture seems to be obsessed with wealth. To the point where we have lost touch with our own inner resources. Everything is projected out instead of cultivating what is within. The funny thing about it is the more we are in touch with our true inner self, the easier the flow of money seems to come our way. One of the great things about astrology is that it shows our true vocation. When we become a vocational being as opposed to occupational and recreational life has a completely different meaning. In essence we are living our destiny.
In planetary astrology wealth is indicated in many different ways. The most popular way to look at this is the planet Venus. Venus rules what we value and is linked to the second house ruled by Taurus. This is the house of values, how we value ourselves (self esteem) and whatever planet we have in that house will be what we put value in purchasing. The second house is not only how you make money but also what you do with your money. For example having the planet Mercury in this house we will value purchase books and information. Having our Sun in this house we may not have a sense of self worth until we acquire money and possessions. The planet Neptune in this house could indicate money earned from fashion, photography, chemistry or selling pharmaceutical drugs. Neptune can also indicate secretive ways of earning money or a potential for getting scammed when it comes to investments. There are many interesting aspects to consider. Here is a summary of how the planets use money in the Second house:
Mercury Symbolises, petty cash, small amounts, tips, check books, credit cards. Money can earned through lecturing and writing. There can be more than one source of income with Mercury in the second house.
Venus Rules Money and is connected to the second house as it is ruled by Taurus. Venus here will spend money on beauty products, art and will have a knack for attracting what they value.
Sun Rules the precious metal of Gold. Having the Sun in this house will make us proud of what we own.
Moon Rules the precious metal of Silver. Having the Moon in the second house we will project strong feelings onto what we own.
Jupiter Symbolises large amounts of money and foreign currency. Jupiter in the second will want to expand resources. Money can be earned through travel, the law, import and export trade, teaching and philosophy.
Pluto symbolises huge wealth reserves, storage of money, inheritance, obsessions with money especially in the second house.
Saturn symbolises poverty, discipline with money such as working to a budget, delays in collecting money, being content with not earning much money.
Uranus symbolises trading in stock and crypto, money that comes and goes, risks in investing,
Mars symbolises money and possession are concrete symbols of power and strength. There is a strong desire nature. Mars in the second house knows what they want to buy and wants it now! Mars can also burn through money very quickly.
Neptune symbolises money in connection with drugs, chemistry, poetry, painting, acting or fashion as examples. Neptune in the second house requires deeper understanding and feeling for the whole sphere of money, possessions and resources. There can also be an element of guilt associated with having money.
As I write this blog Pluto will ingress into Aquarius today. There will be huge transformations in the way we view money. There is a huge push for money to be going digital which will give us less financial freedom with the systems of control. Time will tell to see how this plans out for us.
